Automotive Technician - Lead Level
We are currently hiring a Lead Automotive Technician to work in a full-service automotive repair center in the Newport news area. Technicians must be able to work at a fast pace, own their own extensive set of tools, and take pride in the quality and efficiency they put into their work.
We offer a working environment with clean facilities and modern equipment, busy and consistent customer bases, and the opportunity to work with top-notch Store Managers. We are only looking for a technician who is serious about making good money and becoming a long term part of our great team.
Requirements:
- Ability to do brakes, suspension, steering, alignments, exhaust, A/C, flushes and maintenance work on all makes and models of vehicles. Welding experience a plus.
- 3 years+ experience in an automotive shop environment
- Own a complete set of tools
- Valid Driver License
Preferences:
- Graduate of reputable trade school
- State Inspection Certified
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and accurately reporting correcting procedures for vehicle issues document everything as all of our supporting documentation is archived online
- Complete and through inspections on every vehicle that enters facility It is important that we provide our customers the best service possible
- Efficiently and thoroughly repair every vehicle complete jobs in under book time
- Warranty work paid on an hourly basis (if its not your own comeback)
- Clean, safe work area to insure a safe working environment for all our techs
